In Pursuit of a Hike

We've welcomed spring with a few hikes and tons of time in the yard. Screen-free time together doing something active, while breathing fresh air and talking to each other... Being outdoors together pretty much the perfect family activity. I was thrilled 2 years ago when the boys both learned how to ride a 2 wheeler over summer because it meant we had a new outdoor activity to do as a family. Bike riding on the Katy Trail. The Katy Trail  is a bike trail that covers a huge portion of Missouri, running beside the Missouri River, bluffs, and farmland. It has beautiful scenery and multiple entry points within 30 minutes of our house. We are so fortunate to be nearby.
